Friday - Casting Call! The spotlight is shining and Camp TWIGS is ready for its stars! Wear your new camp shirt and bring your biggest smile as we prepare for a weekend full of fun!

Saturday - Movie Magic! Let your imagination take center stage! Transform into your favorite movie/television character and step into a world of wonder, laughter, and larger-than-life fun!

Sunday - The Final Take! The cameras are rolling for one last unforgettable scene! Whether you shine in sparkles, bow ties, tutus, or your favorite camp shirt - get ready for big cheers and red carpet moments!

Camp TWIGS 2026

Dates: Aug 7th-9th

Camper Ages: 6 - 8 years old

Cost: $225 REGISTER or VOLUNTEER using Camp Docs

July14 - Last day to cancel and receive 50% refund

Tuition is DUE for campers two weeks prior to the first day of camp

Scholarship Info:

As part of the registration process for each camp there will be a separate step where you can apply for a tuition assistance. Scholarship recipients will be notified via email after registration closes for camp.

Arts and Crafts

Did you know kids with diabetes are super creative? Well, at least at Camp TWIGS they are. We offer fun and interesting arts and crafts projects that let your creative side shine on.

Camp Fire

Camp TWIGS prides itself on its stellar camp fire programs. Come belt a "tune" with us as we sing songs at the top of our lungs, hip-hop to the dance routines, and enjoy hilarious skits and crazy contests.

Relay Races

Get ready to laugh, cheer, and race your way through some unforgettable Camp TWIGS relay challenges! Campers will work together to conquer fun, action-packed races that build teamwork, confidence, and plenty of smiles along the way.

Special Guests

You never know who might drop by Camp TWIGS, anyone from a fireman, athlete, or celebrity with Type 1 Diabetes to share about following your dreams with diabetes.

Scavenger Hunt!

We like to start off camp with a laid-back scavenger hunt! Campers get a chance to learn the layout of camp and have fun meeting their counselors and other camp friends at the same time. If you search hard enough you may even find our mascot, Twiggy, hiding in the elephant graveyard!

Together We Inspire Greatness and Support

Together

Campers at Camp TWIGS will receive the necessary resources to mentally and physically overcome the everyday challenges of having diabetes.

Camp TWIGS offers all that traditional summer camps offer, plus a whole lot more in a non-residential, day camp environment.

Inspire

Campers will receive optimum diabetes care from local physicians and other health care providers including physician assistants, nurses, diabetes educators, and dietitians. Campers will have the tools and resources to successfully manage their diabetes while at camp by balancing their activity level with their food and insulin intake.

Greatness

Campers at Camp TWIGS may be little, but they are mighty! Camp allows them to celebrate their greatness and realize they are not alone.

Support

Campers at Camp TWIGS will receive the necessary resources to mentally and physically overcome the everyday challenges of having diabetes.
